EXCELLENTVerified Great boat tour around Komodo National Park We had a fantastic trip with Dream Komodo Tour! Florian arranged the trip, and Afri was our tour guide. Both guys very nice and helpful. The boat crew was also very helpful, and made great good and found very good snorkeling spots. We visited both Komodo Island and Rinca Island (both very beautiful and we saw app. 7-8 dragons on each island). I´m sure that that the idea for the Jurassic Park movie came standing on the pier at Komodo Island. The snorkeling was absolutely marvellous with lots and lots of corals (in very good shape) and fish, and we also snorkeled with Manta Rays. The boat crew and Afri knew where to go and how to find the Mantas. We visited Padar Island and climbed the hill to the most beautiful view, and one evening at sunset we saw a huge amount of bats coming out of the mangrove and flying to Flores. A very impressive sight.Dream Komodo Tours adapted the tour to our wished (extra snorkeling spots) and it was absolutely great. Komodo is the largest species of the Varanidae family, as well as the largest lizard in the world, with an average length of 2-3 meters and a weight of up to 100 kg. Komodo is the top predator in its habitat because so far there are no other large carnivorous animals known besides this monitor lizard in any of its geographic areas.
